A view from the pilothouse

We are building this blog/web site to showcase the building of our 37ft Kahuna Nui Pilothouse Cutter.  We have been working on the project since May 1st of 2013 and getting close to completing the hull.  Throughout the building process we have captured thousands of photos and have created a time laps of the building process.

When completed the sailboat will be used as a platform for both a travel blog and a resource location for environmental education, mental health assistance and self esteem building field trips.

Come with us and enjoy the journey……….

Next Steps For this project…

We are working to complete the Xynole fabric and epoxy on the starboard side and then the completed Keel.  We are hoping to roll the hull over in the next 30 days depending on the local temperatures in the next few weeks.
